All that we had installed for today was our lovely solo performances. I was on edge all day leading up to it may I add, however when I actually got sat down and set up I was told that I actually only have to play for two minutes which was a major relief.

I stuck with “Purple Rain” by Prince because it is a fairly difficult song from the get go, I played the intro, a verse, chorus then I took it straight into the solo for a minute then stopped. It sounded great on my end, I could have done better but I can say that about anything I do but it is only a small thing.

The next big worry would be my grade six guitar exam because I still haven’t nailed the arpeggios which are a major pain but I need them so I better knuckle down big time to make sure I pass with the best possible mark.
