We were mean’t to rehearse this morning but not everyone was up to playing the new songs due to no one learning their parts except from me which just goes to show what everybody else is doing over half term.
Chris told us that we are definitely playing Wickham Music festival now which is cool but the only downside is that the tickets are fairly expensive and I would not be able to sell someone a fifty pound ticket on the premise that they would see me play for half an hour then have a bunch of other bands.
No Guitar lessons this week as our teacher wasn’t in but next week I will have my own one to one with him and I will start to properly go through Grade Six with some support rather than making it up as I go along which I take little pride within when it is something this important…
I am seeing Avengers Endgame later with my partner at a midnight showing thing which will be interesting it starts at half past eleven and then ends at three in the morning. Luckily neither of us have college the next day because our course gets a day off due to Solent Sound which is a bit pointless to me but hey at least we get to rest after a 3 hour movie.
Theory was interesting, we were teaching others so I help Millie one on one as it helps her massively. She is picking it up quickly with some pointers and a few examples here and there, if we carry on working at our current pace she will have a shot at passing her theory test and I will not only be proud of her but myself for teaching and helping her.
In my theory lesson we briefly went over a handful of new things and old whilst polishing off what we started last term and then getting back on track towards getting our grade three theory grade!
